Professor Mustafa Suliman provided national leadership for Sudan’s Range Management Program. His achievements included the planning and establishment of six national range reserves, formulation and implementation of community-based anti-desertification projects, and development of national awareness programs on drought preparedness, environmental protection, and sustainable rangeland management.
